The closing ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games will raise its curtain at the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) at 8 P.M. tonight (Feb 20). All preparations for the closing ceremony have been completed. The closing ceremony will focus on athletes and on Beijing being the world's first dual Olympic city. It will show elements from 2008 to 2022 in an artistic way. The ceremony will mainly use red that represents China and blue that represents ice and snow. Lanterns and the Chinese knots will be used. Gold medalists Gao Tingyu and Xu Mengtao will be the flag-bearers of the Chinese delegation at the closing ceremony.
2022北京冬奥会闭幕式将于今晚20时在国家体育场“鸟巢”正式亮相。目前，闭幕式各项准备工作已经就绪。运动员将成为闭幕式上的主角。在美学基调方面，主创团队大胆使用中国红碰撞冰雪蓝，将灯笼、中国结等中国传统文化符号作为表演元素融入仪式当中。据介绍，以独特手段带领观众“穿越”回到2008年，通过科技力量呈现空灵与浪漫，以艺术化形式诠释“双奥之城”，将是整场闭幕式的最大看点。北京冬奥会冠军高亭宇和徐梦桃当选北京冬奥会闭幕式中国代表团旗手。
收官！北京颁奖广场圆满完成冬奥会运行任务
After 14 days the Awards Plaza for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics ended its operation last night (Feb 19). As a non-competition venue of the Winter Games the Plaza held 30 award ceremonies for over 150 athletes from 17 countries. Chinese athletes were awarded 5 gold medals 1 silver and 1 bronze at the Plaza. The operation team served over 500 members of the Olympic Broadcasting Service (OBS) and about 1000 members of the media. Nearly 5000 spectators attended the award ceremonies.
2月19日晚，运行了14天的2022冬奥会北京颁奖广场完成了光荣任务。北京颁奖广场作为北京冬奥会重要的非竞赛场馆，共举行了30场颁奖仪式，为17个国家的150多名运动员颁发了奖牌，中国选手共在北京颁奖广场领取5枚金牌、1枚银牌、1枚铜牌。运行团队共服务OBS（奥林匹克广播服务公司）工作人员500余人次、将近5000余人次观众观看了颁奖仪式。
5G+XR设备令运动员们着迷 不出冬奥村体验“上天入海”
Developed by Beijing companies more than 20 5G+XR intelligent experience devices are used in the entertainment center of the Beijing Winter Olympic (Paralympic) Villages. They are popular with athletes. Using VR devices athletes can experience the charm of Jiao long China's first manned submersible designed to reach a depth of 7000 meters below sea level and the Shenzhou Spaceship. They also can learn about Chinese culture such as the Terracotta Army. Visitors can use VR glassed to watch films and play games. An XR ski simulator is also available in the Olympic village.
近日，在北京冬奥村运动员娱乐中心，5G+XR（扩展现实）智能体验设备成了运动员们的“打卡”体验胜地。不出冬奥村，各国运动员们能通过VR设备亲身体验一把“蛟龙”号、神舟飞船等中国国之重器的魅力，还能通过VR设备与中国古代的秦兵马俑来一场穿越古今的相遇。在迷你的VR自助游乐屋、VR街机项目中，运动员们戴上VR眼镜，就可以自助进行VR观影、VR游戏等多种体验。通过XR滑雪模拟器，运动员们也能足不出户体验一场逼近真实滑雪体验的模拟滑雪。
北京文旅局，中医管理局推出5条中医药健康旅游精品线路
Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism jointly released 5 Beijing TCM health tourism themed routes on Feb 19. 5 routes cover parks museums hospitals tourist attractions and other content like royal medical culture exhibition Medicinal foods tasting and more. The research lab of Tu Youyou the first Chinese scientist to win a Nobel Prize in science is also included in the tour.
北京市中医管理局、北京市文化和旅游局19号联合推出5条北京中医药健康旅游精品线路。5条线路涵盖宫廷医药文化展示、药膳品尝、中医养生保健等体验内容，涉及博物馆、公园，也有医院、老药铺和旅游景点。中国中医科学院屠呦呦研究员工作室也纳入其中。

Edited by Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) a pocket book for Winter Olympics communication in Chinese has been issued in Beijing recently. Written for beginner level learners the book highlights the function of verbal communication and instant reference. The book is in Chinese English and French and has 12 communication themes. The book also serves the Winter Olympics with content about the mascots emblems venues and events of the Beijing Winter Games. BLCU plans to donate over 1000 pocket books to the National Indoor Stadium.
由北京语言大学主编的《冬奥会交际汉语口袋书》近日在北京首发。本教材针对零基础学习者编写，具有突出口语交际功能，即时查阅，随学随用，开口交流的特点。采用英文、法文2种语言注释，按照12个交际主题分类编写。另外，本教材服务冬奥，特色突出，融入了北京2022年冬奥会吉祥物、会徽、比赛场馆和比赛项目等介绍，最大程度地满足奥运会代表团及对相关内容感兴趣人员的语言使用需求。北京语言大学将计划向国家体育馆捐赠1000余本口袋书。
